Drum for fun is the right name - my husband & I really enjoyed our taster lesson with Steve. We were encouraged to make noise straight away & by the end of the hour were playing along to some rock classics. We have just booked our next lessons.

Steve is a great music teacher: he is patient, kind and has a knack of knowing when to move on to the next lesson topic, or whether something needs to be continued to be worked on.
His facilities are excellent, and the kit is always extremely well presented.
Steveā€™s mottos are "play as loud as you like", and "make as many mistakes as you like" - he really does mean that, so I thoroughly recommend Drum For Fun to beginners and experienced drummers alike.

This was the perfect birthday treat for our 12 year old grandson ... he had never played drums before but he had a great time and was absolutely made up to be able to drum along to We will Rock you! Granny had a go too! Perfect gift .... he said it was really really good fun and he would love to come back. In the meantime he continues to play guitar and is now appreciating the drummer in his band so much more šŸ˜. Thanks Steve, you are a star!

What an amazing lesson. I read all the previous reviews stating that Steve is a good instructor but these really donā€™t do justice to his relaxed and effective style. Came away after one lesson with an ability to do some basic grooves. Loved every minute. Canā€™t recommend Drums for Fun enough.

This was a Christmas gift for my husband. I went along and ended up joining in. Steve is a brilliant teacher, and immediately we felt as ease in his well equipped studio. It was the most fun we had in a long time. We are looking forward to more lessons.

I am finding Steve's approach to teaching both interesting and easy to follow,he explains things very well and I feel very at ease, but he makes you want to learn more and more. He also has a lot of patience and only progresses the lesson when he thinks fit. Wish I could get more lessons in but at the moment work commitments are taking precedence unfortunately !!
